Washington Trip - Day 5 - Katherine

Today was a tiering day but everyone made the best of it. The first thing we did was go to the Arlington cemetery. It was pretty cool to watch the changing of the guards ceremony. After that we went to a couple monuments that we had missed the other day. Later we went to two museums which were the Smithsonian Museum of American History and the National Gallery of Art. At the National Gallery of Art was pretty amazing to see famous paintings in person. Then we went back to the hotel to get some rest for the evening. In the evening we went to George Town to do some shopping which was pretty fun and relaxing. In George Town we went to this awesome cupcake place called DC Cupcakes, it had delicious cupcakes packed in cute little pink boxes. It's been a great trip with lots of good memories that will be remembered forever.
