Washington Trip Day 3 Joseph

Today was a great day.

We woke up early and begun our journey around the U.S's beautiful Capitol. Following breakfast we traveled over to the astonishing National Museaum of the American Indian which was filled with past and present day artifacts of Native American tribes across the country.  Objects such as ancient weapons and ritual masks filled the Museaum, occupying a building which is truly a pice of artwork itself.  From there we continued our journey over to the Smithsonian Air and Space meuseaum.  The building was filled with planes, rockets and space ships from the greatest accomplishments of aviation.  Space suits that landed on the moon and planes that where the first to take flight (wright brothers plane)  were only a taste of what we witnessed in the incredible Museaum.  Next on our itinerary was a quick stop at the street vendors and Hirschhorn Modern Art Museaum.  After a quick peak at both these points of interest our group travelled over to our class favourite (so far) the Museaum of Natural History (set in the Night at Museaum).  There we witnessed priceless exhibits such as the infamous hope dimond, and the first recorded human skelaton, LUCY.  These displays were truly something special as we looked into the eyes of which shaped our world.  From here we stopped quickly at the United States Airforce Memorial were we stopped to think about those who served for the U.S. in the airforce. Additionally this monument presented us with a great sight over the nations heart.  Later we had dinner to slow down our day and then watch an interesting presentation about morals and righteousness.

Our day really did exhaust us however, it presented us with great knowledge, sights, and history of our world as a whole.  Today we really witnessed the heart and roots of the country/city.

I cannot wait for what is yet to come!
