Our class had fun shopping at the mall at the end of the day as well. This was an unforgettable day and I will be looking back at the pictures I took to fondly remember it later.

Day Four: by Michelle
Our fourth day in Washington was really packed and busy but super exciting, and our classes especially enjoyed visiting a huge number of sites. Today we walked for hours, to explore the Newseum (an informative museum with artifacts, newspapers, and other objects dating back years, that had been preserved), and the Franklin Roosevelt, Martin Luther King Jr, Thomas Jefferson, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, and Einstein memorials. We took time reading famous quotes by Martin Luther King Jr. and Thomas Jefferson and Franklin Roosevelt, and took innumerable pictures, of everything we saw. The Korean and Vietnam War memorials and that of the Second World War were touching and we spent time gazing at the walls with names of fallen soldiers, and at the sculptures.
